Therapy for Men in Chicago
Therapy for Men in Chicago
Many men come to therapy feeling stuck, disconnected, or like something is off, but struggling to put it into words. Maybe work feels hollow. Relationships feel strained. Or you’ve achieved a lot and still find yourself wondering if this is it.
You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
Who I Work With
I work with men in Chicago navigating a wide range of challenges: career transitions, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, identity questions, and a quiet but persistent sense that life could feel more meaningful. Many of my clients are professionals in tech, healthcare, law, business, and academia who are high-functioning on the outside but privately struggling.
What brings them in is often hard to name at first. What keeps them coming back is that therapy actually works.
What Therapy With Me Looks Like
I take a collaborative, direct approach. I won’t just nod and reflect. I’ll engage with you, challenge you when it’s useful, and create a space where you can be honest without judgment. My style is relational, supportive, and at times playful. Many of my clients tell me it doesn’t feel like what they expected therapy to be, and that’s usually a good thing.
Together we work to build self-awareness, clarify what matters most, and develop a stronger, more grounded sense of self.
Why Men Seek Therapy
Men are often taught to push through, figure it out alone, or simply move on. But there’s a cost to that over time: emotional distance in relationships, a muted sense of purpose, or a growing feeling of disconnection from your own life.
Therapy offers something different: a space to slow down, get honest, and start moving toward a life that actually feels like yours.
A Practice That Welcomes Everyone
My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally sensitive, welcoming men of all backgrounds, identities, and orientations.
